KIDS PREDICT FUTURE: ALIEN HAMBURGER STANDS, GUN-TOTING TEACHERS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- What will the world look like 75 years from now? Well, if American school children are correct, it will be a world filled with ray gun-toting teachers and alien hamburger stands. Those are some of the scenes drawn by elementary school children in a contest sponsored by the Montblanc pen company to portray what the world will look like in 75 years. One 9-year-old girl from Arkansas predicts the future will be filled with floating hamburger stands where three-eyed aliens dish up greasy burgers and fries. A 7-year-old boy from California predicts math teachers in the next millennium will carry ray guns to keep unruly kids in line. And a 13-year-old boy from Virginia pictures a future where people will travel to far-off places just by thinking about it. The winner of the contest will be announced May 15th, and the lucky child will win a trip to New York and a diamond- encrusted pen.
