SONGWRITER IS MUSICAL VERSION OF `PEOPLE MAGAZINE'

VACAVILLE, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- A 54-year-old songwriter in Vacaville, California, hopes to do for Meg Ryan and Mel Torme what Elton John did for Princess Di and Marilyn Monroe. Songwriter Jae Gee actually writes a song each week which features a different celebrity. One tune is a Mel Torme tribute called "You're The Cream In My Coffee," and is about the singer's relationship with his wife, Ali. Another song is titled "Sharon Stone," with lyrics like: "You're absolutely beautiful/ You fill the world with dreams" and there's also a ditty inspired by Meg Ryan's real name: "Margaret Mary Emile Anne Hyra." Gee considers himself a musical version of "People" magazine and claims he only writes songs about celebrities he admires and would never write a tune for, say, Monica Lewinsky or serial killer John Wayne Gacy.
