SHIRLEY JONES TURNS 65 TODAY

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Actress Shirley Jones turns 65 today (Mar. 31), but the former "Partridge Family" mom has no plans of retiring anytime soon. Shirley is set to record an upcoming album of Christmas music for Disney Records and she has a full schedule of concerts planned for the coming year. Although Shirley may be best known with Gen X'ers for singing "I Think I Love You" with "The Partridge Family", she's never performed the song live and has no plans to do so in the future. She simply says it's not really her style. However, Shirley says her fans have never objected and she thinks that's because she makes up for it by singing songs from "Oklahoma" and "Carousel." "Mama Partridge" has no plans to do anything special today, but is looking forward to dining and dancing with her husband, comedian Marty Ingels, this weekend.
