BON JOVI DRUMMER GETS A GRIP ON GOLF

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- It looks like Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres is getting a grip on the art world -- literally. When Torres isn't pounding the skins, he's a sculptor and painter whose latest project is a series of bronze sculptures dedicated to the grips of famous golfers and tennis players. Some of the famous athletes who've let Torres bronze their biceps include Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Martina Navratilova -- although he hopes one day to cast a bronze sculpture of salsa musician Tito Puente holding a drumstick and the feet of soccer legends Diego Maradonna and Pele. Torres will be displaying some of his "grip sculptures" in New York next month but this Saturday he'll be displaying some of his nude paintings at the Florida Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art in Coral Gables, Florida.
