SO YOU WANT TO BE A KIDDIE ROCK STAR?

SO YOU WANT TO BE A KIDDIE ROCK STAR?

LITCHFIELD, Conn. (Wireless Flash) -- Hanson wannabes take note: a new summer camp could help you become a pint-sized rock star. Starting this summer, the National Music Workshop will begin holding the first-ever rock `n' roll kids camps in several cities across America. Children between the ages of 10 and 15 who sign up for the so-called "DAYJAMS" camp can pick which instrument they want to learn and even form a rock band at the camp. The goal by the end of the summer is to write and record an original song that will be performed at a concert on the last day of camp. But while the purpose of the camp is to train budding Sheryl Crows and Bruce Springsteens, there won't be any sex and drugs with the rock `n' roll. In fact, camp organizers say they will start each camp session with a stringent lecture emphasizing that drug users don't make good music.
