SPIN AROUND IN CIRCLES TO INCREASE SELF-ESTEEM

FREEDOM, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Here's a dizzy idea: spinning around in circles can help you feel better about your body. That's according to psychologist Marcia Germaine Hutchinson, author of "200 Ways To Love The Body You Have" (Crossing Press). Hutchinson says spinning helps align your body, which helps you relax and makes you feel more positive about yourself. To obtain the best results, she recommends spinning in one complete circle once or twice a day. Then gradually increase your spinning until you spin 21 times consecutively. Hutchinson says you can also learn to love your body just the way it is by taking several minutes to examine, sniff and lick your hands. It may sound gross, but she says a little "hand-licking" will make you realize how important your hands are and teach you to respect every part of your body.
