KING KONG POSTER HAS MONSTER PRICE TAG

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- The 1933 movie "King Kong" is living up to it's giant image -- at least when it comes to the price of memorabilia. A "King Kong" movie poster featuring the famous ape grasping a broken airplane in one hand and star Fay Wray in the other will go on the auction block this Friday in New York. Sotheby's auction house says the starting bid for the poster will be $100,000. Other pricey movie posters that will be auctioned off include... -- A Three Stooges poster for the 1934 film "Three Little Pigskins." It features a shot of the Stooges lifting a football- helmet clad Lucille Ball. Starting bid: $70,000. -- A poster for the 1925 Charlie Chaplin film, "The Gold Rush," has a pre-sale value of $18,000. -- And, finally, the only known copy of a poster for "It's A Wonderful Life" could sell for as much as $15,000.
