TIME STANDS STILL: TOURNAMENT FEATURES PAC MAN, TRON

WEIRS BEACH, N.H. (Wireless Flash) -- Remember the pre-Nintendo days of "Pac-Man" and "Space Invaders?" They're about to make a comeback at a sort of Seniors Tournament of video games. Next month, more than 200 oldtime video game freaks will gather in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire, for the first ever International Classic Video and Pinball Tournament. The three-day tournament is dedicated solely to video games and pinball machines from the late '70s and '80s including "Ms. Pac-Man," "Dig Dug," "Donkey Kong" and "Tron." Organizer Walter Day says the former world champions of "Star Wars", "Dig Dug", and "Donkey Kong" will attempt to break their old records for the first time in 15 years. Day claims older video games require strategy and are actually more fun to play than contemporary games which emphasize driving, shooting and punching.
