`WORLD'S LARGEST YARD SALE' TO BENEFIT CHARITY
NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Pssst. Wanna a deal on some second hand hotel bedsheets? Or how about a nice used toilet? Those are just some of the items up for sale at what's being called the "World's Largest Yard Sale." About 200 Ramada Hotels across America will unload old bedding, sofas, carpet and bathroom fixtures on May 1, with the proceeds going toward the construction of a health clinic in Zambia. A spokesperson says most of the old items are leftovers from recent remodeling projects including 10,000 telephones, 2 acres of carpet, 3 miles of extension cords, wall paintings and even old soda machines.
