BABIES BECOME DUMBBELLS IN NEW EXERCISE PROGRAM

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- A fitness-loving couple in California have come up with a unique way to bond with their baby boy: they use him as a dumbbell. Ahnjel and Majid Ali have developed a fitness program called "Baby Weights" which involves hoisting their 15-month-old son Riley in a variety of positions. For starters, there's "bicep curls," which involves placing the baby across your arms and then curling both arms toward your chest. Ahnjel also does sit-ups with 20-pound Riley sitting on her chest. The baby loves the attention and has even started his own fitness program of running around the coffee table for 40 laps at a time. The Alis plan on writing a how-to-do-it book about their Baby Weights techniques.
