NEW STUDY: SKINNY MODELS MAKE WOMEN ANGRY

TORONTO (Wireless Flash) -- Researchers in Toronto are revealing the skinny on a new kind of aggression: "fat rage." A new study suggests that women who see photos of skinny female models often erupt in anger or get depressed. The study was conducted by psychiatrist Dr. Leora Pinhas, who asked women to examine a series of advertisements and then answer questions about their self-esteem, mood and body. Half of the women were shown ads featuring skinny models, while the other half saw ads without models. It turns out the women who looked at the lanky fashion models become much more angry and depressed than the ones who didn't look at models. Pinhas says the study suggests media images of super-skinny supermodels are very damaging to women's self-esteem.
