NEW STUDY: COLLEGE KIDS DRINK THE MOST BEER

ST. LOUIS (Wireless Flash) -- When it comes to beer, Americans are still chugging away -- especially among those who are college age. A new survey by Maritz AmeriPoll reveals that 51 percent of American adults slurp down at least one beer a month -- but 49 percent never touch the stuff. -- The biggest beer drinkers are adults between the ages of 21 and 24. They consume at least 23 beers each month. -- Senior citizens only guzzle 13 beers a month. -- Men, on average, kick back about 23 beers per month, while ladies only suck down 11 brews a month. -- And, finally, only 4 percent of beer drinkers admit to drinking non-alcoholic beer.
