BEHIND THE SCREEN: TV MOMS REVEAL THEIR HOMES

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Wireless Flash) -- "Everybody Loves Raymond" mom Doris Roberts has something in common with Liberace -- a love of flashy trinkets and over-the-top furniture. That's according to an upcoming documentary, "TV Moms At Home," which goes behind the doors of the homes of some of TV's most famous moms. Roberts' Los Angeles house was once owned by James Dean and is crammed with all sorts of glitzy, Liberace-style decorations and elaborate Middle Eastern rugs. Actress Estelle Harris, who played George Costanza's mom on "Seinfeld," lives in a Palm Springs house filled with bright orange velvet chairs that once belonged to Mae West. "Waltons" mom Michael Learned really thinks of her former co-stars as family -- she has their pictures hanging on her kitchen wall alongside her real family. And, finally, Renee Taylor, who plays Fran Drescher's mom on "The Nanny," painted the walls of her L.A. home peach because Drescher felt the color was flattering to Taylor's skin tone. The TV mom special will air on Mother's Day (May 9) on the Home & Garden channel.
