BARRY BONDS INSPIRES NEW CEREAL: `MVP CRUNCH'

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Looks like San Francisco Giants outfielder Barry Bonds is now trying to become a giant in the cereal world. The three-time MVP now has a new cereal named in his honor: "Barry's MVP Crunch." Bonds actually came up with the name for the frosted flake cereal which is being manufactured by "Famous Fixins," a company that specializes in celebrity-themed food products. Although "MVP Crunch" will be sold only in Northern California at first, the cereal may be distributed nationally if it's a success there. Famous Fixins is planning a similar cereal for Cal Ripken, Jr. as well as a line of Erik Estrada Tortilla Chips and Olympia Dukakis Greek Salad Dressing.
