20TH ANNIVERSARY OF `ALIEN' - E.T. FORCES BEHIND MOVIE?

CHICO, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Here's something that will make you feel light years older: Next Thursday (May 27) is the 20th anniversary of the premiere of the movie "Alien." Most people assume the sci-fi thriller is fiction, but some researchers now believe real aliens had a hand in producing the flick. According to UFO journalist Michael Langevin, one theory suggests a group of peace-loving extraterrestrials actually planted the idea for "Alien" in the minds of Hollywood producers. It seems the aliens want to warn Earthlings about a race of evil E.T.s who are planning to colonize the planet before 2012. Langevin says the creature depicted in "Alien" is merely a stand-in for the real thing, while the heroic character played by Sigourney Weaver is supposed to inspire humans into putting up a fight when the enemy beings invade. "Alien" isn't the only movie the peaceful E.T.s have inspired: Langevin says they also had a hand in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and the string of "Star Trek" movies.
