CHEF'S JACKETS NEXT TREND FOR GEN X HIPSTERS?

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) -- Those button-up jackets worn by chef's are replacing gas station attendant shirts as the hottest clothes craze for Gen X hipsters. There's been a recent rise in sales of chef jackets, pants and hats to people who don't even know how to boil water. Non-chefs wearing the clothing as a fashion statement have became a new market for Chefwear, a company which makes professional cooking apparel. A spokesperson says fashionable Gen Xers are buying up the company's line of brightly-patterned baggy pants, double-breasted chef's jackets, and those high, poofy hats known as "toques." The company has even commissioned fashion designer Nicole Miller to create a new line of clothes for chefs and non-chefs.
