OLD BUFFALO HAIRBALL TO HIT AUCTION

OLD BUFFALO HAIRBALL TO HIT AUCTION

MEXIA, Texas (Wireless Flash) -- How much is a 100-year-old hairball worth? No one knows for sure, but a softball-sized wad of buffalo hair dating back 100 years will be auctioned off at a western heritage auction this weekend in Mexia, Texas. Historian Jan Harrison says it's hard to put a price on the giant hairball, because a mound of buffalo hair has never been auctioned off before. Other weird western-oriented items slated for auction include... -- Doc Holliday's silver whiskey flask, which could sell for as much as $220,000. -- Buffalo Bill's makeup case. It includes two of his razors and could sell for at least five figures. -- And, finally, rat pack fans may want to bid on a gun and holster that once belonged to Sammy Davis, Jr., who was considered by show business insiders to be the fastest gun in Hollywood.
