WORRYING CAN BE GOOD FOR YOU

GLEN OAKS, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) -- Next time someone tells you to stop being a worrywart, tell them to stuff it. It turns out worrying can actually be good for you. That's according to stress expert Dr. Len Tuzman of Hillside Hospital in New York, who says some kinds of worrying can promote your mental health. Tuzman says worrying about real-life problems such as paying your bills on time is good, because it can motivate you to nip the problem in the bud. It seems people who worry in moderation actually lead happier lives than folks who don't worry at all -- partly because they're better prepared to deal with stress. Of course, there are some things that aren't worth worrying about because they're simply out of your control. Tuzman says if you're worrying about when you're going to die, you may worrying a little too much.
