WOULD YOU PAY $40 FOR JOE WALSH'S CANCELED CHECK?

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- If you're an Eagles fan with at least 40 bucks to burn, here's a noteworthy souvenir: One of Joe Walsh's canceled checks. Believe it or not, a $500 check Walsh gave to a family friend as a Christmas present in 1997 will be auctioned off at the UBL.com website later this month. The Walsh check is already receiving bids of more than $40, proving, once again, that one's man trash is another man's treasure. Other offbeat celebrity item up for auction include... -- A black and white checked Gianni Versace suit once worn by Elton John. Its pre-auction value is $1200. -- A skimpy red spaghetti strap tank top donated by Cher should sell for at least $125. -- And, finally, an autographed T-shirt from former Go-Gos lead singer Belinda Carlisle is expected to go-go for at least $40. The auction wraps up June 10.
