DON'T FEEL LIKE A DUMMY AT MANNEQUIN EXHIBIT

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- There are going to be a lot of sexy dummies at an upcoming fashion exhibit -- but their names aren't Naomi, Cindy or Linda. The exhibit -- sponsored by New York's Fashion Institute of Technology -- will pay tribute to actual department store mannequins, and will feature more than 40 different dummies. Curator Jennifer Yeager says the dummy show -- which opens June 22 -- is designed to show that mannequins are good for more than modeling clothes in store windows. Some of the mannequins on display will be "blood and guts" anatomical dummies used in medical schools. The show will also feature celebrity dummies of Cher and Lucille Ball and TV clips of "human mannequins." Although most of the dummies will be displayed in the nude, Yeager says she isn't worried the show will offend anyone. In her words, "This is New York City. Folks see this kind of stuff everyday."
