`SPORTS BALLET' TO FEATURE BREAKDANCING TENNIS PRO

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Who says jocks can't dance? Not choreographer Peter Pucci, who is about to debut a new production made up entirely of dancing athletes. The show -- called "Pucci: Sport" -- will consist of seven dance acts based on popular sports like baseball, hockey and tennis. One act is a seductive dance involving a pro hockey player and a woman dressed up like a puck. There's also a routine involving a breakdancing tennis pro who pops, locks and slithers around while mimicking tennis moves. And then there's an act involving three boxers who kick and pound at punching bags in step with a drummer's beat. Pucci says his production will also feature cheerleaders, Astroturf and hot dogs to make it seem even more like a sporting event. "Pucci: Sport" makes its debut June 22 in New York City.
