5TH ANNIVERSARY OF O.J.'S BRONCO CHASE

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Today (June 17) is a date O.J. Simpson won't be celebrating: the 5th anniversary of his infamous Bronco chase. On June 17, 1994, O.J. led L.A. police on a 60-mile slow speed chase through the streets of L.A. before he surrendered and was charged with the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. O.J. was acquitted, but that hasn't stopped folks from devising their own bizarre theories about the murder case. A San Diego clairvoyant claims Nicole's ghost told him a "fat slob" held both victims down while a short man slashed them. A Detroit researcher claims L.A. cop Mark Fuhrman framed O.J. because "The Naked Gun" films featuring O.J. make L.A. cops look like goons. And then there's "Movieline" magazine which theorized O.J.'s inspiration to commit the murders came after he watched "The Jagged Edge," a 1985 Glenn Close film. If you haven't seen it, the film depicts a gruesome knife slashing that takes place on June 12, 1985 -- exactly nine years before Nicole and Ron's murders.
