ONLY `BOBS' WELCOME AT UPCOMING GOLF TOURNAMENT

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (Wireless Flash) -- Most golf tournament officials would love to have Tiger Woods play in their match -- but not officials for the upcoming Bobby Jones Open. The tournament is off limits to any golfer whose first name isn't a variation of "Robert" or "Roberta" and whose last name isn't "Jones." Organizer Bobby Jones says at least 80 Bob Jones are expected to participate in the three-day tournament which will begin July 15 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Jones admits keeping up with the Joneses can be difficult, so every Bob Jones will use a nickname based on their job or hometown. Proceeds from the three-day tournament will be used to fund research of syringomyelia, a crippling spinal nerve disorder that affected the tournament's namesake, amateur golfer Bobby Jones.
