1984 APPLE COMPUTER AD BEST COMMERCIAL EVER?

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- A 1984 ad for Macintosh computers has just been declared "The Best TV Commercial of All Time." The editors of "TV Guide" recently asked advertising industry big shots to vote for the best TV spots of all-time, and the Big-Brother-ish computer ad landed at the top of the heap. The ad only aired once -- during Super Bowl XVIII. However, ad insiders claim it changed the way ads are created. Other TV commercials making the Top 50 include... -- No. 9: Wendy's 1984 "Where's The Beef?" spot. -- No. 10: Life cereal's "Mikey likes it" campaign. -- No. 18: The Nike commercial where Bo Diddley tells Bo Jackson, "You don't know diddley." -- And, finally, at No. 50: Budweiser's very first frog ad. "TV Guide" will reveal its complete list on "The 50 Greatest Commercials Of All Time," a documentary that will air tomorrow (Jan. 30) on TV Land.
