TRAVELING FAUX PAS: NEVER WALK ON LAWNS IN POLAND

CINCINNATI (Wireless Flash) -- Foreign travelers beware: walking on a lawn in Poland could cost you big bucks. That's according to international etiquette expert Ann Marie Sabath, who says Polish police often issue tickets to anyone who walks across a lawn. But that's not the only unusual "faux pas" international travelers risk overseas... -- Visitors to Italy should avoid placing their hands on their stomachs, because that tells people you dislike them. -- Never leave any food on your plate while dining in Denmark. It's considered rude. -- Finally, although it's offensive to discuss politics with Romanians, it's perfectly OK to talk about the country's legendary Count Dracula. Sabath is the author of the new book "International Business Etiquette: Europe" (Career Press).
