BERLIN RESIDENTS NOT IN LOVE WITH `LOVE PARADE'

BERLIN, Germany (Wireless Flash) -- Love should definitely be in the air this weekend in Berlin, Germany, thanks to the 11th Annual Love Parade, which starts today (Jul. 9). The Love Parade is considered Germany's answer to Woodstock and is expected to attract more than 1.2 million young techno-pop lovers from around the world. Berlin radio personality Heiko Schoenborn says the Love Parade is an excuse for scantily clad men and women to dance in the streets of Berlin and pass out between booze sessions. However, after last year's record crowd of 1 million eliminated nearly 187,000 gallons of urine over park bushes and benches, locals are starting to demanding that the Love Parade be moved somewhere else. Parade organizers are considering moving the event to Paris, but some Berlin politicians hope that won't happen because the filthy parade brings lots of filthy lucre to Berlin.
