FIRST-EVER TRAVEL GUIDE TO THE MOON

FIRST-EVER TRAVEL GUIDE TO THE MOON

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Tourists can't fly to the moon yet - - but that hasn't stopped a well-known travel company from writing a lunar tourists' guide. In honor of the 30th anniversary of the moon landing, Frommer's has created "The Moon: A Guide For First Time Visitors" (Macmillan). The guide gives helpful hints to potential moon tourists -- such as the fact that booze is banned in outer space, so don't expect any to be served on the space flight. -- Don't expect to take a shower on the moon. Due to the lack of gravity, moon visitors will have to be happy with sponge baths. -- Don't expect a moon visit to be a romantic sex fest, because the harsh space conditions can sap your libido. -- Make sure you do all your sightseeing early in the morning before the lunar temperature soar to 266 degrees fahrenheit. A spokesperson for Frommer's says the company expects to sell plenty of the tourist moon guides -- despite the fact that trips to the moon are still in the planning stages.
