OLD CAVE UP FOR GRABS ON Y2K EVE

CREEL, Mexico (Wireless Flash) -- Think you've heard the last of the millennium gimmicks? Don't hold your breath, because now comes word of a "millennium cave." A Mexican hotel is offering a special New Year's Eve package that feature a week-long stay in a 20 million-year-old cave. The dirt-floored cave is outfitted with a log bed, a kerosene lamp and a nightstand, but no rest room, which means Y2K revelers have to hike a few hundred feet to the main lodge to relieve themselves if they drink too much champagne. It may sound like a real pit, but a spokesperson for the Sierra Trail Lodge says the $3250 package also includes a New Year's Eve party and a New Year's Day breakfast of tortillas and Mexican coffee.
