DRINKING GAME EXPERT DISSES CURRENT CROP OF GAMES

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Need proof college kids aren't as creative as they think they are? Just check out the latest collegiate drinking games. Nothing much has changed, according to drinking game historian Scott Johnston, who says today's college students haven't created anything to rival classic beer-guzzling games like "Quarters." Johnston says there are really no "new" drinking games these days -- just variations on old classics like "Beer Pong," "Kill the Keg," "Frisbeer" and "Bladder Bust." He thinks the dearth of good games these days can be blamed on TV and the internet, which is sapping the creativity out of college students. Johnston is the co-author of the newly-revised "Complete Book Of Beer Drinking Games" (Mustang), which he originally wrote 15 years ago while attending college.
