WIRELESS FLASH BRIEFS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Former MTV VJ "Downtown" Julie Brown is going on the ropes for her latest gig -- "Battle Dome," a TV sports show that's sort of a "WWF meets "American Gladiators."" Brown will interview competitors ringside as they participate in bizarre events. One such event showers participants with medicine balls while they cling to a spinning rope 15 feet above the ground. -- BURBANK -- Being a football team waterboy may not be the most glamorous job in the world -- but don't tell that to fans of Adam Sandler. Next month, Buena Vista Home Video and ABC Sports will kick off a "waterboy for a day" contest to promote the video release of Sandler's film "The Waterboy." Two winners will get to be "honorary waterboys" at the Sugar Bowl come January. -- NEW YORK -- Many people would rather die than eat hospital food, but not the cast and crew of "The Adventures of Sebastian Cole." It seems budget constraints forced producers of the new indie film to hire a hospital commissary as caterer. Incredibly, the crew claims the hospital food was actually the best stuff they had ever eaten on a film set.
