CAT-FUR CLOTHING UPDATE: WARRANT OUT FOR PUBLIC ENEMY NO. 1

WASHINGTON (Wireless Flash) -- Remember last winter's scandal involving Asian clothesmakers who made coats trimmed with real dog and cat fur? Well, animal advocates say they have finally tracked down the person responsible for the animal atrocities: a women in the Philippines who allegedly ran a cat fur processing plant. Philippine authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of "cat butcher" Gina Custodio, who reportedly hired young boys to catch cats, which were then skinned at her plant. The skins were sold for export, while the cat meat was sold to a nearby sausage factory. Although Custodio's whereabouts are unknown, a spokesperson for the American Humane Society says the group is confident she'll be found.
