SPACE `ART-ITY' -- DAVID BOWIE TO NARRATE DEAD COW ART EXHIBIT

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) -- David Bowie is about to narrate an audio tour for an upcoming art exhibition that will feature a display of dead cows, sharks and lambs. Bowie is recording the 40-minute tape for the Brooklyn Museum to use in an exhibit titled "Sensation" which focuses on cutting-edge British art. A spokesperson for the museum says some of the graphics are so disturbing that they will be posting health warnings telling visitors "The contents of this exhibition may cause shock, vomiting, confusion, panic, euphoria and anxiety." Bowie isn't the first celebrity to babble in an art museum. Lyle Lovett has done the honors for the Contemporary Museum of Art in Houston's "artphone," while the voice of "Star Trek's "George Takei can be heard on tours at the Japanese-American Museum in Los Angeles.
