WOODSTOCK NOW HAVEN FOR AGING PUNK ROCKERS

WOODSTOCK, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) -- Here's a sign of the times: the hippie paradise of Woodstock has now become a haven for aging punk rockers. That's according to chef Ric Orlando of Woodstock's New World Home Cooking Cafe. Orlando -- who also happens to be a former punker himself -- claims Joey Ramone often comes into his restaurant to eat pasta, while Gary Miller of Bad Brains loves curried mussels. There are so many aging punk rockers in Woodstock these days that Orlando has started holding a "Lounge Lizard Friday" "open mic" night where old punkers can relive their glory days. Why are all the aging punk rockers descending on Woodstock? Orlando says it's because the town is "...a great place to raise kids."
