86-YEAR-OLD MAN PUTS NEW SPIN ON ROCKING CHAIR

BETHEL, Conn. (Wireless Flash) -- They may say you can't teach an old dog new tricks -- but don't tell that to 86-year-old inventor Charles Regensburg. The retired stockbroker has become a furniture-maker in his golden years and his current project is putting a new spin on Grandma's rocking chair -- literally. Regensburg's so-called "SwingChair" is a rocking chair that uses suspended cables to allow it to rock back and forth, side- to-side and even spin in circles. He says he created the new-fangled chair to revive the dwindling tradition of rocking chairs -- which he claims can relieve stress. By the way, Regensburg's 81-year-old wife, Ashley, is also an inventor who has just created disposable reading glasses she calls "Scanners."
