INTERNET COMIC STRIP BECOMING A CYBERSPACE `LOVE BOAT'

LAWRENCE, Kan. (Wireless Flash) -- An internet comic strip about a BBQ-sauce wielding superhero is quickly becoming "The Love Boat" of cyberspace entertainment. In the last few months, the "Rib-Man" comic strip has had "guest appearances" from Fred Willard, Mark Hamill, former politico Dick Morris -- and now Suzanne Somers is scheduled to make a guest shot next month. Former BBQ executive Rich Davis -- who created the strip in 1997 -- thinks he's been able to land Hollywood talent because many celebrities are clamoring for internet exposure of any type. The word must be spreading around Hollywood, because Davis claims he's been receiving calls from an assortment of press- hungry celebrities who want to appear with "Rib-Man."
