TOWNS TO GIVE EACH OTHER THE BIRD THIS WEEKEND

WORTHINGTON, Minn. (Wireless Flash) -- The towns of Worthington, Minnesota, and Cuero, Texas, will be flipping each other the bird this weekend. That's when Worthington will hold its 27th Annual King Turkey Days, with the highlight being a 150-yard turkey race between a local gobbler and one from Cuero. A similar race will take place next month in Cuero and the turkey town with the best combined times gets to call itself the "Turkey Capital Of The World." This year, Worthington's official turkey trainer, Steve Busch, admits feathers are ruffled because his town's turkey -- named "Paycheck" -- has lost four years in a row. Even if Paycheck wins the race, Busch admits the bird will wind up inside a Thanksgiving Day oven.
