CROCK-POT BEST WAY TO COOK A SKUNK

PARKERSBURG, W. Va. (Wireless Flash) -- How do you cook a skunk? Stew it slowly in a Crock-pot, of course. That's according to Edelene Wood of the National Wild Foods Organization, a group which advocates the eating of all sorts of wild vittles. Wood claims tossing a skunk in a Crock-pot results in a sweet-tasting meat similar to chicken that falls right off the bone. She says in the 32 years she's been cooking up her wild dishes -- including chocolate-frosted earthworm cake -- she's only made one person sick to her stomach. But, even then, Wood claims it was because the cake was so tasty, the girl ate too many slices.
