BEE GEES TO BE HONORED WITH POSTAGE STAMPS

DOUGLAS, Isle Of Man (Wireless Flash) -- The Bee Gees once sang "I've Just Gotta Get A Message To You," and now they'll be ensuring the messages arrive on time. The famed band is being honored with a series of postage stamps by the British Island Nation, the Isle Of Man. The set of six stamps are being issued in celebration of the 50th birthday of twin brothers Robin and Maurice Gibb, who were born on the island in 1949. Each stamp commemorates a Bee Gees hit such as "Night Fever," "Stayin' Alive" and "I've Just Gotta Get A Message To You." The stamps will be officially unveiled tonight at the London Palladium, where a stage production of "Saturday Night Fever" is currently appearing.
