35TH ANNIVERSARY OF WARREN COMMISSION REPORT

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Wireless Flash) -- Monday (Sept. 27) will mark an important day for JFK conspiracy buffs: it's the 35th anniversary of the day the Warren Commission released its report. Although the report concluded Lee Harvey Oswald was the sole assassin of Kennedy, Congress re-opened the case in 1979 and concluded there was a 95 percent chance someone else fired a shot from the infamous "grassy knoll." However, Marquette University political scientist John McAdams claims most historians accept the Warren Commission's findings because they believe the U.S. government is too inept and inefficient to coverup an assassination witnessed by thousands. But bizarre conspiracy theories continue to surface including the "Umbrella Man Theory," which suggests JFK was killed by a man who used a poison dart gun disguised as an umbrella. There's also the "He Did It Himself" theory, in which JFK ordered the assassination himself to ensure his place in history.
