RADISH-LIKE VEGGIE TOUTED AS `NATURAL VIAGRA'

BOSTON (Wireless Flash) -- Eating your vegetables just became a little more fun thanks to a radish-like root that's being touted as a "natural Viagra." The virility-inducing veggie from Peru is called "maca," and according to medicinal plant researcher Chris Kilham, the root has been used by native Peruvians for thousands of years. Unlike Viagra, maca can be used by both men and women, and Kilham claims the randy root can double a person's sex drive. The stuff is usually mixed into baked goods or blender drinks and reportedly has a flavor similar to graham crackers. Since news of maca started making its way out of Peru and into other countries, one herbal manufacturer is planning on plugging it in the U.S. with sexy ads in magazines like "Playboy" and "Esquire."
