ROVER IS PREFERRED BEDMATE FOR MOST AMERICANS

GLEN, N.H. (Wireless Flash) -- It looks like bedrooms are going to the dogs -- literally. According to a new survey by The Anita Lang Collection -- a retailer which sells jewelry to animal lovers -- nearly half of American pet owners say they'd prefer to sleep with their pooch than their spouse. 46 percent of those taking the poll claim they would boot their sweetie out of bed if they had to choose between their pet and their spouse. One woman interviewed for the survey says she actually divorced her husband after he kicked the cat while in bed. And another woman admits she's so dependant on sleeping with her cats that she has to sleep with a surrogate stuffed animal on business trips.
