THEME PARK TO BE DISNEYLAND FOR THE DEAD

CRANFORD, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- A planned chain of theme parks should have folks dying to get in -- literally. That's because the parks will do double duty as combination graveyards/amusement parks. The New Jersey-based Investors Real Estate Development plans on opening a world-wide chain of the Coney Islands for corpses which will be called "The Final Curtain." Among the highlights will be roller-coasters racing through mausoleums and a travelling exhibit of funeral urns -- complete with human ashes inside. One exhibit will feature a giant Etch-a-Sketch-like device on which park visitors can create pictures out of cremated remains. A spokesperson says the management of the proposed theme parks is already placing newspaper ads for folks who want to be immortalized at The Final Curtain.
