CONTEST FOR COMPANY'S CRAZIEST CUBICLE

CONTEST FOR COMPANY'S CRAZIEST CUBICLE

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Life is anything but cubicle hell for employees of an internet company in Thousand Oaks, California. The company -- Homestore.com -- is holding a cubicle- decorating contest to find the worker with the weirdest and most unusual office space. One employee has outfitted his cubicle to look like a war zone -- complete with bullet shells, camouflage netting and an army helmet. Another worker turned the cubicle into a Hawaiian-style tiki hut with bamboo walls, tiki torches and a baby pool filled with sand. Other conversions include a "Backyard BBQ" theme by way of mosquito netting, Astroturf, a picnic table and trellis-lined walls. The most creative cubicle will be picked later today (Oct. 8), and the winner will get a weekend in Las Vegas.
