LATIN SENSATION RECALLS EARLY DAYS AS TOWEL BOY

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Latin singing sensation Marc Anthony may be hot stuff now, but once upon a time he was just a lowly towel boy. Anthony tells the upcoming "Parade" magazine he got his start in the music business by doling out towels and water to salsa legend Ruben Blades during his concerts. Anthony would wait in the wings of the stage hoping Blades would get thirsty or sweaty so he could rush on stage with his towels and water. He says his enthusiasm for being center stage was so great that Blades often had to chase his "towel boy" offstage to keep him from hogging the spotlight.
