ENTREPRENEUR MAKING A MINT ON HALF-POPPED POPCORN KERNELS

AUSTIN, Texas (Wireless Flash) -- Would you pay good money for a container of half-popped popcorn? An entrepreneur in Texas thinks you will. Doug Foreman has figured out a way to produce popcorn that is only half-popped, and is now marketing the stuff under the name Popnots. Why the half-baked idea? Well, Foreman claims the half-popped kernels at the bottom of the popcorn bowl have more flavor than fully-popped corn, which he thinks taste like "styrofoam." It took him two years to develop the machines to make the half-popped corn and he's now selling containers of the stuff for around $3.
