BABY STROLLERS MAKE GREAT EXERCISE MACHINES

CINCINNATI, Ohio (Wireless Flash) -- A Cincinnati woman has found a unique way to bond with her babies while keeping her own girlish figure -- she uses a baby stroller as an exercise machine. 31-year-old fitness instructor Lisa Kvietok developed her "StrollerFit" workout after having her first baby three years ago. Now, she holds classes to teach pudgy parents how to exercise while pushing a stroller. A few of the moves include the "Peek-a-Boo Squat" where you grip the stroller handle, squat down and play "peek-a-boo" with the baby and the "Stroller Lunge," which involves doing leg lunges while pushing the stroller. Kvietok claims mothers love the 50-minute workout because it helps solve post-pregnancy problems like sore backs and flabby tummies. The StrollerFit program will be demonstrated at the Chicago Baby Faire this weekend (Nov. 6 & 7).
