`BULLWINKLE' BECOMES A CHOCOLATE MOOSE

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Think you feel old? Well, how about this: the cartoon character Bullwinkle just turned 40 yesterday (Nov. 18). On November 18, 1959, Bullwinkle and his buddy, Rocky The Flying Squirrel, made their debut on "Rocky And His Friends," an ABC cartoon. In a day-late tribute to Bullwinkle's birthday, Universal Studios theme park says it will roll out a 4,000-pound "chocolate moose" carved to look just like the famous moose. The 8-foot-tall chocolate moose is being supervised by Wolfgang Puck's pastry chef and, when finished, will pack a whopping 40 million calories. A Universal spokesman admits the studio is still trying to figure out what it will do with the statue when the ceremony concludes later today. One suggestion includes donating the chocolate moose to a suitable "moose-eum."
