EXPERTS FEAR Y2K DISASTER MOVIE WILL REDUCE Y2K FEARS

CODY, Wyo. (Wireless Flash) -- Although many folks are worried last night's Y2K disaster movie on NBC will trigger a panic, some experts fear it won't scare people enough. Mike Adams of the Y2K Newswire website, fears that since last night's film, "Y2K: The Movie" was such an over-the-top depiction of Armageddon, it will make people complacent and feel like there's nothing to fear about Y2K. Adams fears the film will keep folks from properly preparing for real Y2K problems: like job layoffs and stock market drops. His advice? Start stockpiling cold hard cash instead of canned foods because you may be out of a job soon.
