LUNAR RESEARCHER PREDICTS Y2K RIOTS

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- Forget the Y2K computer glitches. Now a researcher claims the cycles of the moon will make for a pretty hairy New Year's Day. Lunar behavior researcher Jeff Warren is predicting a rash of Y2K arson, murder, robbery and suicide triggered in part by a New Moon which falls 6 days after New Year's Eve. Warren calls it the "New Moon Syndrome" and claims the cycle inspires people to engage in compulsive, violent behavior including drug abuse and unsafe sex. Sound loony? Maybe, but Warren says the infamous schoolyard shootings in Colorado and Kentucky both took place during similar new moon cycles. He says you can reduce the risk of having your violent urges erupt by taking B-vitamins and by staying away from crowds as the "Big Night" approaches.
