72 YEAR OLD TO JUMP OFF CLIFF

ACAPULCO, Mex. (Wireless Flash) -- A 72-year-old Mexican man hopes to make a big splash on New Year's Eve by becoming the oldest man to ever dive off a 136-foot cliff in Acapulco. Diver Raul Garcia jumped off the famous Acapulco cliffs for 50 years until retiring in 1986 -- but he says this will be his last-ever dive. Garcia -- who also worked as Elvis Presley's stunt double in "Fun In Acapulco" -- says he started cliff diving when he was 7 in order to retrieve a fishing hook from the water. Even if the septuagenarian swimmer survives the last dive, don't expect anymore. Although Garcia loves diving, he claims the potential risk makes it "the world's worst profession."
